How to Create a Delta Green Agent

1. Generate Statistics

Method: Choose one of three stat arrays or roll 4d6 drop lowest for each stat:

  • Balanced: [13, 13, 12, 12, 11, 11]
  • Heroic: [15, 14, 12, 11, 10, 10]
  • Pulp: [17, 14, 13, 10, 10, 8]

Assign to: Strength, Constitution, Dexterity, Intelligence, Power, Charisma

2. Calculate Derived Attributes

  • Hit Points: (Strength + Constitution) ÷ 2 (rounded)
  • Willpower: Equal to Power
  • Sanity: Power × 5
  • Breaking Point: Sanity - Power
  • Damage Bonus: (Strength - 1) ÷ 4 - 2 (minimum -2)

3. Choose a Profession

Select from 40+ available professions such as:

Federal: FBI Agent, CIA Officer, DEA Agent

Military: Soldier, Marine, Navy SEAL

Civilian: Scientist, Physician, Lawyer

Emergency: Firefighter, Paramedic, Police

Academic: Anthropologist, Historian

Other: Criminal, Media Specialist

4. Assign Professional Skills

  • Base Skills: All characters start with default skill percentages
  • Fixed Professional Skills: Each profession grants specific skill bonuses
  • Optional Skills: Choose 2-4 additional skills from profession list
  • Bonus Skills: 8 points to distribute among any skills (+20% max per skill)

5. Create Bonds

Bonds represent important people in your agent's life:

  • Number of Bonds: Varies by profession (1-4 bonds)
  • Bond Strength: Each starts equal to your Charisma score
  • Examples: Spouse, children, parents, close friends, mentors

6. Personal Details & Equipment

  • Demographics: Name, age, gender, nationality
  • Physical Description: Height, weight, distinguishing features
  • Background: Education, career path, motivations
  • Equipment: Profession-specific gear, weapons, and personal items
